Car Door Window Replacement Front Door Glass
The front door glass is also at risk of being chipped or broken. A broken front door glass in your car puts it more at risk for thieves to break into one of your windows and steal. Due to the way side window panes are manufactured they cannot be repaired the same way a windshield can. Even the smallest chip on the window you will need to replace the whole front glass.
The first step we take is removing the old damaged glass. If the glass has been totally shattered we vacuum the loose glass pieces and debris out of the vehicle before removing the door panel. If the front door glass is chipped, we remove the whole panel to access the pane.
The next part is to disconnect the glass from the door mechanism that allows the glass to rise and fall. We completely remove this part and the complexity of the job is based on the type of mechanism fitted in the door panel, manual or electric. After, the new glass pane will be fitted into the mechanism then it is cleaned. Finally, there will be a test done to ensure everything is working properly. Rear Door Glass
The rear door glass is important since it can be damaged in a car collision like any other glass in the car.
